OUR GARDEN ROOMS

Garden Rooms are free, open forums to provide safe, easily accessible and evidence-based education regarding mental health and issues around mental illness. The Banksia Project invites a multitude of speakers who have either a lived experience,  or are a leader in their industry and have overcome adversity, with the view to provide compelling and constructive stories for the audience attending.

COMMUNITY

The Garden Rooms touch on the mental illness and challenges identified with the intention of providing attendees with a better understanding of what is possible for their own mental health practices.

To symbolise our open forums, we chose a garden, because like a our community, a garden is full of different colours, shapes, sizes and types of flora that make the wonderful tapestry of its eco-system. A Garden is harmoniously symbiotic and each individual plant, insect and organism needs the other to thrive. This is your community, welcome.
